Introduction

Include this small, light and versatile paring knife to your knife collection. The 3.5″ ZwillingMiyabi 5000 MCD Shotoh Knife is ideal for peeling, trimming, cleaning, coring and garnishing fruits and vegetables.

The paring knife is made with SG2 micro-carbide powder steel that’s enclosed within 100 layers of 2 different types of steel. This blade is sharp and flexible by going through a manual honing process between 2 rotating stones. It’s ice-hardened to Rockwell 63 and has a Japanese blade profile.

Zwilling’s Shotoh Knife has a Masur birch handle to give the knife a unique wood-grain pattern. An end cap is beautifully styled with a mosaic pin and has a D-shape for better balance and comfort while gripping. Handle has a rounded spine and heel, plus the knife is recommended to hand wash only.
