Introduction

The Microplane 5-Sided Box Grater holds an ultra coarse, super fine/fine zester and medium ribbon grater along with a slicer blade. This means you can grate anything from the finest of grades such as citrus fruit peel and hard nuts and spices, up to the coarsest such as soft cheeses, butter and potatoes.

Microplane’s chemical-etched blades, still made by a family-owned company in America, are far more effective than traditional punched blades, so they cut effortlessly through hard or soft foods without tearing or shredding. The repeated groove pattern spread evenly across the different grating surfaces means less resistance, so grating requires less effort. It’s made from surgical grade stainless steel, with a comfortable, ergonomically designed plastic handle, so it feels fantastic in your hand and makes grating so easy. The snap-on plastic cover keeps the blades safe and sharp when not in use, and the individual blades can be removed separately for cleaning.
