Introduction

At first glance Metallic Lace appears to be real metal, however, upon closer inspection it is clearly a very sophisticated and refined textile. The open abstract netting is ‘metalized’ to form the metallic looking surface and thus becomes a truly contemporary lace in both placemats and runners. Each runner measures13” x 70”.

Launched in 2000 by Sandy Chilewich herself and her husband Joe Sultan, Chilewich is a New York-based brand that design innovative products from their own original textiles. They create a beautiful selection of designs, including flooring, wall textiles, upholstery, window coverings and placemats.
