Zwilling’s 7″Miyabi 5000 MCD Santoku Knife has a Japanese blade profile and a Karelin Birch handle for an attractive knife. It’s made to be durable with SG2 micro-carbide powder steel blade that is protected by 100 layers of steel. The blade goes through an ice-hardening process for durability and is hand-honed using the 3-step Honbazuke process to a 9.5 to 12 edge angle.
The birch handle has a rounded spine and heel for a comfortable grip. Knife is recommended to be hand washed only.
